I've just recieved this invitation from the Ministry to head a committee in France. As usual, they were highly specific and simply told me it was about the defense of the nation. I suppose they want me to march on Paris as well *laughs* I'm just glad Arthur isn't going to be on the same committee with me. I don't doubt that having him look me in the eye like an equal would be degrading, even more so if I were making a speech.   

I plan on a vacation when I get back. Hmmm.... Perhaps Tuscany would be best...

The Ministry decided to send me this odd invention so I can "see the thoughts of the world", whatever that means. I was hesitant at first, especially after reading a few of the posts some muggles put up. Barbaric and hideous things, muggles. Then I happened to notice Potter, Dumbledore, and even Severus and Draco have one of these "journals", so perhaps it will be far more useful than I originally thought...
